Delta 1 question

How does everyone who has the Delta 1 like it?  Has anyone noticed an increase in splits with this ball?

I have two of them and have noticed when I miss light I usually end up with splits from this ball.  I'm not sure if it is because of the lane conditions I have bowled on.  I'm starting to think that it's because of how hard this ball drives.  When i'm light the ball drives so hard that it chops the pins and splits are a result many of the times this happens.

I'm just curious if anyone else has noticed this or do you guys think it's because of the lane conditions(carrydown ect...)?

I can honestly say that I have seen the opposite, the Delta 1 hits so well that usually I have messengers to take out anything ugly that may stand.

Hey CHI,

Dude, this is one of my all-time favorites from Track. This cover/core combo is the best I've seen in quite awhile. It is very sharp, the only kind of splits I've noticed are 4-9's and that is only when I pull it and it finishes high, which is what I expect from any ball that goes high unless I get that lucky tap every once in awhile. I hope you find the solution to your problems buddy because it has been open season on the pins with my Delta. God Bless you CHI and let us know how everything works out!

I didnt have much luck with it myself and thuss did not like it. It was drilled pin under bridge, CG kicked out, MB on VAL. I think I would have liked it alot better with a different drilling though! I have seen other folks throw them with mixed results, for some folks it seems to hit a ton and for other folks it seems to leave alot of garbage and splits! I was in the splits and garbage catagorey!
