Ebonite The One Pearl vs. 505c vs 715a ??
« on: September 03, 2009, 04:38:36 PM »
I currently have The One Pearl and for me, its long and has a smooth arcing reaction when it reads the dry.

I'm looking for a pearl ball that gets just about as much length but gives me a harder, snappier reaction once it hits the dry.

I was wondering if either of these balls would fit the bill and what the main differences are between both the 505c and the 715a.  I also wanted to compare to the Bedlam and perhaps maybe the burn if anyone has info on those as well.

Thanks a lot for any replies.

From what I have heard when talking to a couple track reps the 715a is probably more of what you're looking for.  The 505c has a stronger arc while the 715a is going to give you easy length and big backend.

I have to echo the easy length and wicked backend for the 715a. I bought it last night and was using it from 15-10 and then moved inside and went 20-8 or so and the ball had a grab as soon as it hit the dry and shredded the rack. Have not reviewd it yet because I want to get a few more games on it but I definitely like my new Track!!

I got to throw both the 505 and 730 this past weekend at a demo day. The 730 was the most angular of anything I threw that night, followed by the Burn and Bedlam.

Thanks to all the replies.

I also got to try the 505c and the 930t at the Orleans demo over the weekend but somehow I missed the 715a, which I regret because that was a reaction that I was looking for, and I liked how the track balls rolled for me.

I did also buy a Hammer Jigsaw which I LOVE btw, and I took 4th in the tournament on Sunday with it, so I was pretty happy about that.

I'm really thinking about going with the 715 then...

Also tried the 715A at the Orleans demo.  The length was very good and the
backend very sharp.  The 505c was a little earlier and much more controllable,
just as Track's literature states.  I bought the 715 and am very happy with
the reaction--left it out of box.
