I just got my Power Machine today. Here's a shot of the box so you can see exact specs. The CG is slightly off line of the pin and MB, but what does that matter? I can't wait to punch it up.
http://picasaweb.google.com/rcfinley/BowlingBalls/photo#5044566302633491330I hope that it impresses me enough to be the first ball out. I've had great success with the Meanie for the four weeks I've had it. Here is the layout on the Meanie:
http://picasaweb.google.com/rcfinley/BowlingBalls/photo#5044565980510944114Sometimes the Meanie just gets to be too much, sometimes early. It's worked great overall on the league shot, but sometimes I have to concentrate VERY hard on projecting it far down the lane to keep it on the right side, or change my hand position more to the side of the ball for more side rotation, length, and a bigger backend move. The problem is both of these adjustments force me to be a bit erratic. I was thinking maybe I'd just layout the Power almost exactly the same, pin above the fingers, in a layout of about 45 degrees, which is basically how the Meanie is laid out. Any thoughts on this? I figure with the same layout, I'll just let the differences in cover and core make the differences. If you have any other recommendations, I'm open to them. I probably won't get it punched till Saturday. I can't wait, it LOOKS great, I love purple!

Mr. Lebowski, this is Bill Salnicker with the Southern Cal Bowling League, and I just got a, an informal report, that a member of your team, uh, Walter Sobchak, drew a firearm during league play. If this is true of course, it contravenes a number of the league's by-laws, and article 27 of the league...The Rev Zone (blog) http://ryanfinley.bowlspace.com/blog/
