Another Threat 4" Pin Question
« on: August 22, 2003, 03:04:47 AM »
I'm a left handed bowler medium speed and revs. Just got a Threat as a replacement ball and it has a 4" pin and 2oz top weight. Can I drill this ball to go long and snap to the pocket. Pretty new at this thanks in advance for the help.

The great one

I've had 3 threats and none really snaped for me. It's more of a rolling ball, and if you lay it out to go long, you might run into a bit of over/under. The trash was a bit more snappy, and looks like the triple will roll sooner. I would drill it with the pin on top of the ring finger and kick out the cg. Just make sure to keep it polished. Hope this helps
