On the old Track balls, anything under 14# had the Rocket core.

What is the "Rocket" core?
What ball was it in?

It's just a basic core that they used in lighter weight balls. I'll see if I have a picture of it, can't remember the shape of it now, been a while.

Duke,
If I remember right, it is similar to the Triton Elite core in looks...

Hi Clint,
I'm thinking of trying a 13# ball.
Triton Elite was my 1st Track ball.
I liked it quite a bit.
Thanks,

Clint, I think you're right. Going back thru some of my old drill sheets, it was either the rocket, core 2, or core 3, that they had listed as the lighter weight cores. Probably the same basic core with a tweak here or there to change the name. I think it was just the "baby rattle" core with no modifications.

I was told very recently that Track uses a Reaction Arc core with no flip blocks (long, skinny core) in their 13# balls.
Low r.g. - 2.586
High r.g. - 2.632
Diff. - .046
Hope this helps.
