Drilling Arsenal Reactive
« on: October 03, 2005, 10:26:36 AM »
I was just curious what kind of reaction I would get if I put the PIN inside my Ring finger on the arsenal reactive.  Another question does that void the warranty?

Thanks,

DOug

With your PAP being 5 1/2 over and 1 up, that will be about 4 inches or so from your PAP which will get down the lane decent for you, but the ball will still be a monster with its cover and core.

As for the warranty, I am not 100% sure.

are there drawbacks for putting the pin right inside the ring finger?  Like cracking?

Actually, when I was learning to drill, we drilled some balls with the finger through the pin, taking out the whole pin. We did this as we were going to drill close to the pin, so instead of taking the risk of it cracking, just drill out the entire pin so it does not crack. I had a Nighthawk M2 drilled this way and had ZERO problems!
