Bonanza X Rule 2 Ball......Help....
« on: May 12, 2005, 06:06:50 PM »
Ok, i have a friend who won this ball off ebay. All it says is Bonanza X. It doesn't have a side label at all. It doesn't even show a MB label either. Just a pin and cg. So do i just draw a straight line 6-3/4 to determine the Mass Bias or is this a whole guess and check.

Help me out fellas.

Hey Jon,

Chi is correct.  The most accurate way of finding the true mass bias is by using a determinator.  I'm not sure who in the area even has one, maybe Rod Ross at Manteca?  Or you can contact Lanemasters in Stockton to see if they use one in their factory and see if they'd do it for a fee.  Sorry bud, this is about all I can help you with on this.

Thanks guys. I told my buddy that yesterday.  I totally agree
that you do need that machine or else it's a guessing game.

Not to mention, a 6 3/4" line thru the cg (even providing it is properly marked) will only work for symetrical cores. With Track's assymetrical and multi density cores, that formule does not work. Right guys?
