Equaiton^2

How would the Eq2 fit into my current arsenal? Would there be too much overlap or where do you think it would fit in between?

If everything you have is working properly, I doubt if you would need it.

I would think it would fit between the Equation and the Desert Heat. I don't think there would be an all out need for it, but it could fit.

Agreed!

Is there something wrong with this ball? It has been on this site for a while now and no one has posted a review on it. Is any one currently throwing this ball and if you are could you post a mini-review or just fill us in on the reaction?

I FINALLY got mine last week, same day the purchase was announced.  There was a shipping problem and a few of the staffers didn't get theirs right away, myself included.  I finally threw it for the first time last night, other than a few frames just after drilling  I love the Equation, have done two of them.  So, last night I was bowling in team event during our city tournament here in Lansing.  I started with the Phoenix, it was way too strong, I had to cover too many boards to throw it, and my misses were puzzles and not spares.  So I switched to the Equation.  I threw the Equation for one frame, still too much ball.  So, out comes the Eq2, I moved a little right and wasn't really sure what I'd get.  Flush, strike, next frame was the same.  I got a little quick with the speed and left a 2-4-8-10 and proceeded to throw the next 15, solid-9 and then another 5.  Yep, 300 with the ball in its first full game.  For me, I was able to play the dry without fear of the ball overreacting.  A move definitly reminiscent of my Equation yet needs much more dry to play well.  I give it two thumbs up.

I would place it between your Equation and Desert Heat.  Myself, I'm not tempted to get rid of my Desert Heat since I think the Equation^2 hits much better.

FYI, I just posted a review on the ball.
