Equation 2
« on: December 11, 2006, 05:21:08 AM »
BowlingBallReviews.com has an Equation 2 listed now. Anyone have any info other than what they have? Hmmm, Heat Wave and Equation 2, things could be getting interesting. Hopefully someone will spill the beans on these two soon!

Creative or not, it's what was done with the original Heat series...

I'd check the USBC approved list to see if it's on there. If it is, it could be a sign of things to come!!

Could this be a skid/snap replacement for the Desert Heat?

Desert Heat no sounds a little to aggressive for the Desert Heat.  Now the Heat I could see it being a replacement for.  Same core and a stronger coverstock.  I think I may have just found my next Track ball if this is true.

The Equation^2 will be a domestic release, but I don't know the date.

Monster - the name is a little more creative than that. The "2" is supposed to be superscript, so it's not Equation 2, it's Equation Squared.

I think we need a replacement for the Solution PowerPlus Ex first.

I don't know, I like the name. We had the Nitro R squared and no one complained.  Everything has pretty much been done to death, the only names that were pretty "creative" I thought were Littleboy and Fatman...wouldn't we write this like Strapper does...Equation^2

However, I would truly love to see the Track "Legion".  The Hitmen can engrave above it "Hitman for the" and Cody can put "Official Ball Boy of the"...

Yeah, so tell me what key strokes produce that on a Windows PC. My keyboard reference isn't giving me the info.

If this new Equation is for lighter oil, why not this name:

Equation^1/2, meaning the square root of the the Equation!

Equation² = <alt> 0178

 1. ensure the Num Lock key is Off;
 2. while holding down the Alt key, type 4 figures on the number pad (e.g. 0178 for ²),
 3. release the Alt key to let the required character appear.

I believe you will have to copy ² from a word processor or text editor. This <code> editor that we are using, is well the .....

Or if you happen to have the Google tools search bar up (which is text)... one can go to the window and do the alt 0178 and it will magically appear, do a cut or copy and paste to this editor. Or even the <control> f = find feature will also work.
