Equation question?

Which Track ball would you compare the Equation to?

I'm hangin in there...I'd go with Carl's advice on this.  My exposure to the Raw Doom has been very limited.  Keep us posted with your final layout and reaction, thanks.

What I might compare this ball to would be a shiny Strike Zone.  I originally thought it compared to a Zone Classic, which was the last Brunswick ball I owned before signing with Track.  It handles more oil than the Classic though, which would place it closer to the Strike Zone with a polish.  Just my 2 cents.

Carl, Duke,

A 2" pin placed above the bridge area is going to PROBABLY place the CG above the midline and thus require a weight hole above the midline and probably above the PAP. If it does, I believe that will reduce the flare, depending on the size of the hole. If he/you (Duke)  can get away without a weight hole, I think you'll have a better safer reaction. Just a thought ...

I think Carl noted that in his response and refigured the layout after he noticed the ball had a 2 inch pin...pin UNDER the bridge, with the CG kicked out.

What's your opinion of that layout?
