I'm looking at the Track website, and I understand that the coverstocks on these two balls are the same; Goo LS. What I don't understand is that the Artillery is a solid/pearl blend, and the Equation is 100% pearl (right?). So why are the coverstocks labeled differently? Does anyone know?

To my knowledge, the Artillery is a solid, while the EQ is a pearl - both Goo LS - the only current combo ball is the MMachine

The Artillery is a blend (I have it). I just want to know why they wouldn't change the coverstock name to "Goo LS Pearl." It may confuse a buyer (no, not me) looking at them on the site.

Stand corrected - had to go back to a previous post - I have both

One of our biggest weaknesses with Track/C300 was our lack of communitcations with coverstocks. Particularly with Track we focused more on our cores....where that is still true now at our new home, it is also changing because we have the ability to use the best coverstocks in the bowling industry.
To answer the question directly......there were alot of things we did not know. The Artillery is a blend and the Equation is 100% pearl.
