HEY ADAM!
Firsthand, we know that these balls have the same cover. The only thing that separates the X-Ception I feel is the core. With that being said, depending upon the layout would be whether or not the X-Ception is stronger than the Equation series. So based on your profile and how you have the X-Ception laid out (Pin Above Ring Finger), I will take that and compare the best I can. I have learned from Rick and Carl that Mass Bias placement is important to obtaining the reaction you desire.
I do feel the Equation^2 will get the most length down the lane between the 3 balls. If you were to compare the original Equation to the X-Ception, I feel the X-Ception would have the Equation but not by a whole lot. The original Equation gives me incredible skid/snap reaction.
When I was using the Equation^2 during tournament play today, it didn't overjump boards but when it hit more oil than it could handle, it went really light pocket. In this case, switching to the Equation was the right move. As I said to begin with, the look I got from it was a very smooth arc. Even though it was smooth, it would still be a step above the Heat Blast in my opinion. It is definitely something I haven't seen in awhile from the Track line. Again, this is just my opinion. Hope this helps! God Bless You All and have a great week! Anymore questions, feel free to post!
