This ball isn't really for "dry" lanes is it? That's what it says in the book thingy that came with it.. I really can't imagine this ball for "dry" lanes.. Maybe like light-mediumish? Or maybe im wrong. Can someone help? Thanks!
BTW, why ask for help? Lol. There's always some here.

Friends have encountered heavier oils, and have done just fine. Medium to Light might fit the bill.

The Eq2 is actually a couple of boards stronger than the original IMO. You can actually play the ball in heavy oil if you got revs. I usually pull mine out after 2 games. It's my "sleeper" ball!!

I saw the orginal (identical layouts on each) earlier with about the same backend at the 2. I would not classify the 2 as a dry lane ball, but with the proper layout I think it could get really close.

Hmm well i was thinking of a layout, i'm gonna ask here, and ask Beans my ball driller how this might work. I was thinking, since my original Equation is drilled 5" pin to PAP, maybe go 5.5" pin to PAP on the Equation2? Or even 5.25? I don't want it going longer than forever, but a little longer than my original.. Thanks!

Brian,
I would go with the 5.5 from PAP. If it is too long you could always end up adjusting the surface
