question about ball layout
« on: March 27, 2006, 01:03:03 PM »
Can anyone tell me the type of layout this ball was drilled. cg seems to be halfway between finger hole and thumb about 1 inch right. It is also polished to i think 1500 - 2000 shiny. http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=3/8521585928.jpg&s=x11 http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=3/8521592778.jpg&s=x11

Pin below ring, MB out towards the VAL.  Should be smooth, early (though earliness should be tempered by the cover prep).  Looks OOB, which is around 1500 matte or so.

the proshop that drilled it recommended that it be shined more than oob for my house, so it is shinier. reason I ask is that the ball doesn't seem to want to turn like I expect. very speed sensitive, have to play more straight up with than say my absolute inferno on the same shot.  inferno has lot of backend turns hard, this ball not much turn. wondering if just bringing it back to factory finish would do, or should i have it plugged and redrilled
