Alternatives: Morpheus weak or mid-line strong?
« on: September 24, 2004, 01:52:51 AM »

Hi Track-o-philes.... looking for some advice on ball alternatives. I've hada few Track products (Freak, Phenom U) and really liked them, especially on oil shots. However, my question is related to conditions with less oil, when the lanes break down, as I this gear (drilled relatively strrong) has to be put away.

1. Are there any Morpheus-based balls that will go long that can  be used on a medium shot? (Given that most are particle, I had been assuming that the answer is no, but a reality check is good!)

2. How should I lay out such a ball? I generally use a 4x4 layout... should I use label with pin next to ring and MB left of thumb? Or something else? (I will ad that pin above bridge and CG in palm layouts do not work for me at all).

Thanks!!

pjr, pin next to ring is not really a weak drilling if you PAP is as you listed earlier....

Hey Carl, I had listed my PAP incorrectly a few weeks ago. It's actually 5 1/4" over, 1/2" up.

pjr, ok, so roughly speaking then this would place your pin about 4 inches from PAP?
