looking for a track ball for dry lane conditions. Currently have a Tropical Heat drilled pin above fingers, cg in center of grip, and still stand 40+ and target left of 20 at the arrows. Could go to older stuff, but they are getting worn out. Thinking 300c or300a, or both. Am a 16 to 17 mph, maybe above ave rev guy[300-325?]. Any input would be great. Thanks

I am on old dry wood lanes and have had many or most of the dry lane equipment
300c - sometimes great, sometimes not, a bit unpredictable at times
300t - very predictable, few boards less than 300c
300a - have a 2" pin-pap and this ball is smooth and arcing, not jumpy

Hammer arson low flare sounds intriguing - weak symmetric with stronger cover, very smooth and predictable (WW release date is feb 8th I believe)

did try the urethanes with some success, but they seemed to roll early and then quit
not for the desert shot

Syou could try to find 1 of the old ebonite tornadoes it only has a pancake core in it i have 1 drilled pin down with some surface on it that's my desert ball

 Turbine core from the Tropical Heat is in my Urethane Natural and that core is not weak.   Lots of Flare(yes drilled stronger than your Heat).

Yes which surface do you have on your Tropical Heat(pearl, solid, or Hybrid)?

A Rotogrip Scream of Brunswick Slingshot(saw a bowler in our leagues have 738 this week with his playing 3rd arrow) are nice in this segment or if a strong wet Dry the Rotogrip Shout might smooth out even more.

PS in our leagues we have a strong wet/dry and some slow light hand bowlers.  Many have gone to the newest Scout blue/Ivory and have had nice results , they have drilled etiher no pin out or 1 inch pin out versions slight off label say 4 to 4 1/2 inch pin to PAP.

I would go with the hammer urethane.good hitting ball.or i bought my girlfriend storm urethane pearl.rolls and hits good.or get a ball simLiar to the track 300 and drill it pin up and to the left of the fingers.negative drill.it will work also

dry lane ball ....Track spare plus ... asymetric core drilled stacked .... 16 lbs. swing track area when very dry and when dry to med. oil play 10 (2nd arrow) to ditch staight down and in 14 to 15 mph.... wood lanes med. oil condition : 30 ft oil buffed to 40 ft.  ... average 210 at the 30 weeks into league...

my 300a is a good dry lane ball.....   it's weaker on the backend than my 300c pearl... only cuz of drilling...    but when my 300c is hooking too much on the backend, i know to grab my 300a... 

the track spare or taboo spare is a good option too, maybe with a lil surface on the ball too
