Well I finally threw a sanctioned 300 game in my Monday night men's handicap league in Gardner, MA. The first 11 strikes were no doubters, the 12th one I had to move a board outside to compensate for my tendency to throw it harder when I'm nervous. When the 10 pin finally fell I was so happy to finally record a 300 under my belt. Many thanks to Carl, Rick, Clint from the forum, all the Track users who post here as well as Chris and John from DJ's Pro Shop in Auburn, MA who drill out all my equipment.
My scores for the night were 300-222-188= 710. I actually started the night with the front 15 before leaving a 10 pin in the 4th of game two.
The ball I used was the Solution Power Plus Ex, taken down from factory finish to 1000 grit abralon.

Grats man... Shot my first 300 this summer. Last shot in the 10th was just as high and hard as the first 2. Just told myself to stay put and trust is a must!

Big congrats again Matt on cracking through...I'm sure you are very excited, I know that I was after my 1st 300.
RevLefty is correct...they do seem to be easier after the first one due to your confidence being up and the nerves are a little more calm. However, things like a tournament or ever worse a sport shot will bring back all of those initial nerves...did for me.
