Title: FINALLY... Track has made an OUTSTANDING ball !!!
Post by: Ric Clint on April 10, 2004, 10:57:31 AM
...Or, at least in my eyes.

The Track THRASH is AMAZING! This ball has got a major backend snap/drive... and this is coming from a guy who couldn't get 2 different PHENOM's (drilled 2 different ways) and 1 SUPER FREAK to hook at all! And no they weren't burning energy too early because I even tried them polished and they went even more straighter!

Actually, the THRASH and the SPELL are the only Track balls (in the last 2 years) that I have actually liked!!! You all remember my problems with the Phenom and how I thought that ball was overated, don't ya'll?

The THRASH is a great ball and I like the ball... it actually hooks - and hooks alot!

The Thrash was an awesome ball. The Phenoms and SuperFreak were probably better, but probably just not a good match for your game. If the Thrash is hooking and those balls weren't, that just tells me that strong particle balls probably are not the way for you to go.

PS-If you like the Thrash, GET A CRUNCHTIME!!!!

You might want to look at core shape being a key for you. The thrash and crunch-time have about the same core as do another companies line. I'll give you a hint the owner came from Track where he used that core primarily for the Triton Elite/TKO line.

Where I agree the core on the Thrash and the CrunchTime are similiar, these 2 balls are completely different.

The Thrash is smoother at the breakpoint and much more readable. The Crunch Time is much stronger at the breakpoint, and in my opinion is stronger overall. CT is cleaner through the heads.

I can actually say that the Thrash is one of the better balls I have had that I could easily read the lanes with. For me, this was a rare occurance because I can hardly ever use a polished or shiney ball as a ball to read the pattern.
