yeah - was too busy this week to post - it finished last sunday! finsihed second out of 158 persons. i lead the pack til sunday and ended up losing in the final games.
alright well - i lead all the way up til sunday - i had everyone by 30+ points and anyway - had a good feeling on sunday that i was going to win this thing. anywho - i fell short.
i heard the conditions were going to be the same as all the rest of the days. well - what i heard was wrong. we bowled on two lanes best 3 game series won the tournament. got out there - was just cooled down - relaxed. smoooth.
now - i tested one ball each lane - striked both - cranked on the first lane - just threw a straight ball on the right just to see how my down and in playing was. well - i didn't notice that the fact that the left lane was super oiled up - and the right lane had little to no oil at all. my opponnet outweighed me - he had the right equipment - he had an heavy oiled ball and a light oil ball - i think he knew something aout what was going down while i didn't - but whatever.
first game - i through a 144(terrible from going to a major hook to none_ while my opponnet got 189 - so thats 45 points there - i made up for it second game - threw a 174 to his 168 - so now im down 39 - and the last game i threw a 134 - to his 206 - so theres 72 to add to that 39 - which made 111 me down. and that was it. he finished with 8 grand and i finished with 2 grand - not too bad. 452(me) - 563 (him)
im just glad i got the chance to do so - only tournament i've finished in the top 2. i finished 6th in the pepsi tournament that was just in indy about 5 weeks ago - which i got 3,000 $ for. overall - a good week of bowling
