Long ago, in a galaxy far away, following the lead of Henry Ford, bowling balls came in any color you would want, as long as that was black. Today, you can find almost any color or combination thereof, bowling balls rolling down the lanes. So....who designs/decides what colors are going to be used on a particular model bowling ball? Are they on drugs? My theory is that there are three possibilities. First of all, they are on drugs, or shots of tequila. Second possibility is that the inspiration comes from a kindergarten finger painting class. The third possibility is that all manufactures are color blind. I mean, look around you sometime. Let's face it, the GP2 is an ugly ball. It works, but it's ugly. An ebonite Nitro....nasty color, solid color too. Columbia's bully's....yuck! Being a bowler of course, if Track came out with a new "Trenching Machine", guaranteed to carry the ten pin if you hit anywhere close to the pocket, in colors of peptobismol pink, brown and teal swirl, I would probably say, that's ugly, until I say it carry the ten pin as guaranteed, then say...it's not that bad...I'll take two! So, what do you think....are they on drugs?
