Crunch Time is now mine. Now what?
« on: April 18, 2005, 07:47:58 AM »
Well, my wife has finally given up on her 14# Crunch Time as just being too much ball for her 10-11 mph ball speed, even after we had it highly polished and treated several times with Delayed Reaction.  So , I'm going to get it plugged and use it myself.  Since I don't have a spinner (yet), what does the pro shop guy need to do to get it back to that nice aggressive OOB surface?  Also, I need drill suggestions, as I want to try an aggressive drilling that will hopefully let me swing the ball on medium oil synthetics with some carrydown, without having to play down and in as much.  As an example, my 15# OOB Depth Charge at 5x3-3/4 works pretty well until there is carrydown, and then it slides too far and I have to play down and in, and then I usually just switch to my Phenom Unleashed (drilled hook-set) for better hit and carry.  I throw about 15mph, average revs, and use a wrist brace.  I guess I'm just looking for something fun that will turn the corner with some pop.

duvallite: I would drill your ball pin and CG 4" from your PAP and holefully you don't need an x-hole.This drilling should give you good backends when the carry down comes.

Godd luck and GOD BLESS.
