Track cleaners
« on: January 29, 2006, 11:18:25 PM »
Could some of the Track guru's tell me the difference between the Clean n sheen and the clean n smooth cleaners from track are. I have used clean and dull which I use on my Freak, but I need something for my Polished Fired up. It is in factory finish, which I think is like 1200 grit, but it has tracked out a little. I'm looking for something to keep it where it's at, remove the gunk, and restore tack.

Clean n Sheen is a compound finish....Clean n Smooth restores to 1500. Clean n Sheen will give more of a gloss than Clean n Smooth.

I was curious. I really don't want a polish. Just something to clean the ball w/o dulling it.
I read track's specs, but I figured people had more experience with using them on their equipment that could give me a better idea.

Clean and Dull won't really "dull" it, it will just clean it and not change the surface.

I believe it is being replaced with Clean 'n' Tacky for just that reason.

Hey Dj, you can also use our new Power Wash (no shining, no dulling).  It works really well, first cleaner I've used that was able to remove those stubborn white gutter marks by hand (no spinner). I had to use acetone or acetone based products before to get those spots off.  Hope this helps...
