Whats coming from Track...what do you want to see?
« on: May 30, 2006, 06:32:35 AM »
I have ZERO clue what is coming yet...have not even heard a name let alone specs or anything. However, as I just posted in the Robo Rule thread, I am actually hoping (never thought I would say that) for a solid resin Robo Rule core...I believe I am going to drill enough up to match all my Robos minus 2 so I have one drill with 4 surfaces (dull solid particle, polished particle, dull resin, polished resin).

Any thoughts? Any ideas?

I am really chomping at the bit waiting for the new stuff...can't wait!

I wouldn't mind seeing a machine core wrapped in the powerpack reactive from the Arsenal Reactive. Maybe solid reactive with 2000 grit shine or something.

a us version of the strike machine would be awesome. the rumors have been flying about a reactive version of the machine. the biggest hole i have is a solid reactive. so that would be awesome.

I would like to see something that has never been done before.
An asymmetrical that doesn't have a hook monster core.

Something along the lines of;
RG 2.53-2.58
RG Diff .030-.035
MB Diff .010-.015

Don't think anyone will ever make somthing like this but it never hurts to hope.

The problem that I see with alot of the current line up from not only track but from other companies is the emphasis on hook monsters being assymetrical. I think they have their place, but I personally have never bowled well on the average with them unless it was a specific condition. If I found that condition, I would bowl fantastic. I wouldn't mind even seeing a 2.5 rg with a .5 diff symmetrical core that hooked as many boards as say the machine with a reactive solid coverstock in the medium-medium+ price range. I realize that Columbia has done this with the actions, but I think paying for old cores in an old coverstock at the high end is a little over kill. One reason I threw Track was that their cores were new and so were their coverstocks, at the same price range that everyone else wanted for date techonology.

I'm still up for a high end ball with the machine core wrapped in something like the m80^2 coverstock.

I have heard rumor that there will be two new ones before the league season begins.

One high performance probably a reactive.

And an entry level, heat category, with a modified mutant core.  So the morephus is going to make a comeback.

I just got my new pricing list and list of upcoming balls, and it says Track's two new ones are called the Mean Machine and the Equation.  I could be wrong, but I am just going off the list I got in the mail today.  Hope this helps some.

A couple of things I'd like to see from Track

An asymmetrical reactive dull and pearl using the Robo Core
and I would like to see the Rev-Master core with the PEAK particle wrapped around it. I'd also like to see maybe the Heat series or the new mid price stuff use like the Elite core with more aggressive coverstocks like (powerpack, peak, GOO LS, or even just GOO)...just to see what kind of reactions would come from these. God Bless You all and have a great week!

The low end stuff (Slash, Solutions, Heats) were bigger sellers than the Arsenals and almsot as good as the High end stuff in my area....
