Title says it all...tomorrow will be 3 weeks since the injury, everything feels good, took the brace off last Sunday, my anti inflammatories are doing good...don't think I am going to bowl tomorrow no matter what as its actually a double shift for us tomorrow....but next week is the start of the 2nd third....

With me...team was 22-6, 2 out of first place.
Since 2-6, including losing 2 last week to a team that only had 3 people show and had to take 165 for their 4th bowler, and its a SCRATCH (Classic) League...and oh yea....7 out of first....

No need to be back tomorrow as we can not win the 3rd, but I need to be back next week.

Thanks....will do the first 10-15 shots...if I get that many....at first, going to stand at the line, swing the ball, take 1 step and let er go....see if the arm has any pain in it....if it does, obviously, I can't do anything else....

Have you tried swinging the ball at home yet? Try even throwing it into a pillow a bunch of times.

Yes....I was able to swing a ball last week without pain, however, when I got on tha lanes, I hit up on the ball, and when I lifted the ball up through my release, there was a slight burn in the elbow, so I said well, its better than what its been, but not must be ready yet, so I packed up and put the ball away...and have not tocuhed one since last Thursday.....so after another week of healing..we will see.

Clint,

Have you tried that air brace for cases of TENNIS ELBOW yet? My brother had a similar problem and he uses one every week when bowling. He went last week without it and didn't have any pain after using it for 8-10 weeks, but like you he isn't taking any chances, he still uses it now. He said he feels NAKED without it. Hope it helps for you too.

Hey Clint,

The only pain you feel now is a little burn then it will take you 3-4 days to competely heal using the white plaster I send you (Salonpas). Only you put it on, you will feel coolness in a few mintues. You should change it when you don't feel the coolness anymore like 4 hrs. The plaster will draw blood to that area making healing faster.

Remember NOT to get it wet!!!!!! Good Luck.....

Glad to hear you didn't hurt yourself.  Taking the time off, and hopefully no more 50+ ball drilling sessions, will get you back to full speed soon!  You should have seen him last weekend.  Clint was a ball drilling machine!
