Delta 1 and Rule
« on: December 23, 2005, 03:58:35 AM »
How would these 2 balls match up together?  I have the Rule Delta 1 and a burned out TPC Player that I am replacing.  Would the Rule be a good replacement for my TPC Player?  I need something to replace that ball.  Thanks for the input and Happy Holidays!

Rule, for me, and depending on your PAP and how your Delat is drilled, the Rule should be smoother all around. For me, The Delta is more aggressive and has more backend, mostly due to the largest flipblock used currently in bowling. They can make a good 1-2 punch when used together and drilled correctly for you.

I feel the arsenal angular would be a better fit than the Rule.  The Delta 1 too me is to close to the Rule.  I would want more seperation and the angular should give you that.

oooink,

The Rule and Delta 1 generally give the same type of reaction....the Delta 1 just gives more of it. I like Bartender's idea of choosing something different to offer up more of a change of pace to the Delta 1. However....the 5.0 and the Rule Delta 1's cores are not similiar. They are totally different. Track changed the core body for the Delta 1 as well as the overall shape of the core.

Bartender,

I agree, 2 differently shaped cores can react similiar on the lanes....however you can see a difference in impact at the pins....and also the other key to ball reaction....the coverstock. Either way...I think that oooink would be better served getting something different than the Delta 1, and the good change of pace ball would be the 5.0.
