The centre i work at hosted a seminar by Del Warren called "Dealing With The Modern Game". It was a very informative session, with some very remarkable insights and visual explanations of the changes in techniques that bowlers have used over time. The new equipment that was introduced at the end was very well explained and it was fascinating to hear the reasons why certain combinations of core and coverstock are not used. Afterwards, Del spent some time on the lanes with all the pro shop guys and bowlers, and looked at peoples equipment and grips/spans if anyone wanted. A big thank you to Del Warren for his friendly and informative seminar. Definitely worth going along to!

I host a track clinic at my shop.Its really an awesome deal.My customers a pay a fee to get  a 30 minute lesson and if they decide to purchase a Track bowling ball the money goes toward the purchase of the ball and the lesson is given for free.Chuck Gardner  hosts my clinic is really good at what he does.We usually have 50 people sign up for this every time.I recommend that if a Track clinic comes to your area please attend.The people at track really know the modern game and can take your game to the next level.I also recommend drilling at track ball if you haven't, their stuff is just incredible.

ie which combos don't work etc???

It was interesting to hear Del say that a lot of combinations people keep asking for did not fit his and Track's view of what makes a successful ball. He spoke about equipment being adaptable through drillings so that all types of bowler can use the equipment, rather than bringing out combinations that suit only one type of player or release or speed.
