Title: GP2 power !!! (Mini Review- no surprises !)
Post by: Laybzz74 on May 25, 2005, 09:21:02 AM
WOW !!!! Got mine today and it's STRONG !!! Pin above my ring finger, MB on my VAL, 4" PIN; same layout as my FreakaZoid but tons stronger. Definitely not a swing ball, see Particle 101 thread ; revs up early and is continuous through the backends ... not flippy or squirty, strong arc to the pocket. Carrys the half pocket hit from the outside line and holds energy well on the inside line ... watch out for worn track areas that a majority like to play.
It's at least 5 boards stronger than my Animal and hit as hard, if not harder.
Anyway, I got my flood ball !!!
MANY thanx to EX, Rick, Clint and the other TRACK gurus for their help and patience !!!

Robb, glad you like the GP-2 man. The Track guys and a bunch of people here have helped me out a ton as well. Rick punched mine up about a month ago with about the same drill (see profile).

The ball is also that much stronger (5 boards) than my Animal which is now polished. It's amazing how much this ball drives through the pins. It's almost like cheating! J/K...enjoy dude!

Robb, I'm glad you are happy with your GP2. I love mine so much that I can't seem to make my self put it back in the bag when the lanes call for a change of balls. I want to keep throwing it and throwing it and etc.

Brick,

Drill another one and put some polish on it, you will be amazed how well it responds to the polish and how much difference there is between the balls!
