Title: Has the Arsenal Artillery been overlooked??
Post by: srlunatic on September 12, 2006, 02:26:00 AM
Greeting all!

Does anyone else think that somehow the Artillery has been overshadowed/overlooked as the excellent ball this is?

This ball with its early roll, and strong back end, along with a very adjustable and friendly coverstock makes for one heck of a ball.  The hit is incredible even for a Track product and can be used on such a variety of conditions.

This ball has produced more high games and series lately than all my others combined. I have a couple in storage and think I am going to pick up a couple more.

This has overtaken my Voodoo as my fav Track ball i think....

I don't think that it has been overlooked what so ever.  When the ball was first released everyone here was talking about it.

In our area...it seems to be one of their balls that has a lot of lenght...seems to miss the breakpoint around here on a lot of patterns.

Heat Blast and Mean Machine seem to be showing more here!

Surprisingly the Dry Heat rises to the top occassionaly!

Tyrone,

What I meant to say was that the hit of the Artillery is even more than the usual great hit from the past Track products.

Lucky,

Have they hit up the surface a bit?  Check out my profile and the picture of my Artillery.  Drilled it near leverage to help it even more with an early roll...and took a 1000 Grit Abralon pad to it (decent pressure). Have used this on Sport Conditions that are brutal, house shots, 2nd shift shot and everything inbetween. It always gives me a look as long as there is a little head oil out there to use...

Had the NuLine Virus...similar core!

Liked it.

Most of these guys Artilleries looked glossy.  One used it duller...still he must play wide compared to other stuff.  ....expected I guess...the Robo Rule is other.

Without question it has gone under the radar. The Artillery is a great ball on most conditions.

Guys/Gals......the '06 Track lineup is unbelieveable!
