Something below a heat blast
« on: August 03, 2006, 03:59:47 AM »
Hey guys.  I am looking for something by Track to get me when the heat blast is to much.  I have tried the dessert heat and it just isn't for me.  Any suggestions?  Thanks

Well for right when the heat blast is to strong is still to much oil content on the lanes for the desert heat. I would say try to get a Solution PowerPlus EX. That ball is a step below the Heat Blast and a step above the desert heat. The desert heat is a completly dry lane ball. Any oil and it will just want to slid, the sppex will clear the heads nice and most of the mids and hook up great in the backend.

Didn't Excaliber/Carl or tenpinspro/Rick say something like, the Heat handled approximately the same oil as the Solution Pearl but they had a different ball path: with the Solution having more length and more backend, and the Heat having a more even, less flippy ball path????

Two choices. Solution Power Plus Ex, or the Heat. Both are good balls and work well. The Solution PP Ex goes long and strong, the Heat is more of a smooth arc.

I agree with the Solution Ex and Heat both being below the Blast...but only 1 problem....got to find one...I have them both NIB 16#.....but I have not seen many lately anywhere else in any weight.....

i've thrown my desert heat in heavy and have hooked 15-20 boards with it. I think it is an all around ball...

KRENLW,

I would get the Heat Remake. The Solution PPEX fits there nicely....HOWEVER when the backends are really moving the EX could cover alot more boards than the Blast.

I have the Heat Remake and the Heat Blast.  For me anyways my Heat is more aggressive the my heat blast. I would say give the solution powerplus ex a shot.

I don't understand what the weakness of the desert heat was?

Why didn't it work?  What was the drilling?
Too weak..move too late.  I've been shocked how good that ball is in our area!
