Havoc or FAZ...
« on: October 14, 2005, 02:36:03 PM »
for mediums and as a benchmark type ball?

Both goin cheap right now, may even get both, but if I only get one, which?

I'm leaning towards the FAZ.

Current Line-up:

Phenom
Absolute Inferno
Sheer Havoc
SkyBolt
Hex-splosion
Triton Heat
Plastic

Honestly, can't go wrong either way! The FAZ was sooner for me and the Havoc made a better charge for me...both were drilled identical and had factory surface. Might want to look at the Slash as well...very good piece still in the current line up!

I have the Havoc and it is drilled Pin 4" from the PAP under RF and MB 4 1/4" from the PAP. I sanded it to 500 grit with an Abrolon Pad and polished it with 3M Finesse It II and this ball has become a monster. Good length and a very hard angular back end. When it turns to make it's move, it moves. Very versatile and covers a wide range of conditions. Has been the first ball out of my bag for several months now.

As for finding any cheap now, I believe the ones still available are 14# and 16#. The 15's are hard to come by. I recently looked for a month to find a 15# with the Pin Size and specs I wanted. Now due to some health problems causing me to drop to 14#, it is questionable whether I will even get to use it. May put it up for sale later.
