My Brother's Havoc has cracked from the thumb about 1/4 of the way around the ball. We are looking for a replacement. He only bowls the one league with me and some open play, so something similar to the Havoc is what I am looking for. I think that the Power Plus Reactive coverstock on the ball is very close to superflex, which if this is true would really open up the possibilities for a new ball. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

I think I saw one on ebay the other day. They pop up there every now and then.
It's been rumored that PP is the same as Superflex, in which case you could pick up one of the new Nighthawks. I don't know if they stopped making them when the Columbia/Ebonite thing went down, but they shouldn't be all that hard to find.

The Temper with the proper surface adjustment. It rolls like the Havoc and reads the lane like the Havoc.

doesnt the Nighthawk have the same block and similar numbers?
-
The Nighthawk is very similar, if not the same. The main reason I asked about the coverstock, if it is Superflex, is we finally got the surface dialed in for his style and the house shot we bowl on. He is a no-thumber and I could just go on ebay and get him a used Superflex coverstock ball drilled similarly to his and he would be good to go for around $30.
Any other suggestions are more than welcome. Thanks.

i believe the NH still uses superflex, the first ads said it now they say a proven basf cover. same deal, i guess someone flexed and they had to stop using the name.

Sorry Carl...Not even a surface adjustment would the Temper react like the Havoc. The Nighthawk would be the closest on the market.
