machine vs. nvs

i have both .the machine is drilled pin right and above ring with cg and mb kicked right and nvs is drilled pin under bridge with cg and mb kicked right both about 30 degrees.
    the machine is older and i imagine its oob as i bought it used,the nvs is at 2000 dull.
    I have been looking for a med. to light ball and not expecting it to be the nvs but even at 2000 the nvs is a good 7 boards weaker than the machine. The backend of the machine is phenomenal to say the least.Some have said the kinetic is stronger than the machine and i think the nvs and kinetic are pretty close to the same ball from a different company. I was really suprised to see how little movement i get from the nvs compared to that of the machine.Does the set up make that much difference? If it does i am glad i drilled the nvs like i did because it would have hooked off the lane

I have both the mean machine and the power machine and my team mate has the NVS.from what I've seen both machines are stronger in the backend then the NVS.

it depends on the machine you are talking about. The normal machine IMO has the smoothest hook in that line. It was also the most versital. The Meanie was the earliest roll but still gave backend reaction when used on right amount of oil. The Power had the most length but its backend reaction was so strong that if you used it on to light of oil that when it got to the dry backend it would roll out. The Strike gave a look on the lanes between the Machine and the Power. The strike would turn the corner harder then the normal machine but not as much or as strong as the Power. All for balls when drilled correct for a bowler could all be drilled the same and you would have the perfect arsenal. The only thing you would need is a light-dry lane ball but what Track lover doesnt have a Desert Heat.
