I know it's a older ball, but I always throw my best scores with it. Have bought a Mutant, Phenom Unleashed, Temper, and a Tantrum. Great equipment, but the Heat 2 still shines.
Why?

Because it Simply Matches Up to what you are bowling on.

On league conditions today just about anything old will match up, They are so easy I think sometimes having newer equipment puts you (and me) at a disadvantage sometimes no matter the level of talent! Just my 2 cents of course.
