Title: Heat...
Post by: Monster Stitch on September 27, 2005, 05:53:55 AM
How close is the New heat compared to the original?

I know the covers are completely different showing why track
switched around the RG and Diff of the New Heat to be very close to the Original.

I heard the New Heat is a little more snappier than the original.

It's the same.  The original specs for the Heat are incorrect as are current specs.  The rg/diff is 2.50/.037

I've never thrown the old Heat but from those I've talked to that have/had both say they are the same.

I have also not thrown the original, but from everything I have been told it is the exact same ball they just changed the logos.

I have thrown both, but I have long been rid of my originals (had 3). But from what I remember, they sure act the same and I believe these guys are correctas the only difference is the logos on the ball.

Hey J,

Very close to the same but remember, the oil densities are different now.

i personally like the old heat better. might be the drilling, couldnt match the pin placement identically. and the old color was better(yes, they are very different). pretty close performance as far as i can tell. use the new one the same as i used the old one.
