Heat mini review
« on: March 24, 2005, 01:37:38 AM »
Ball has 1 inch pin and 2 1/2 oz top weight. Drilled 5 by 4 1/2 pin under bridge 1 1/2 above grip line.

Ball is very clean through the front of the lane, reads the middles very good( better than expected) and has a very strong archy backend. I was impressed with the hit and carry. I have thrown the heats in the past but never threw one with this pattern. I threw it the first game and was not clearing the ball well and shot only 221 with several bad pitches. I went to an arsenal aggressive and moved in three boards at the arrows while I was working on the grip. I went back the last game after I got the fingers and thumb worked out.( I drilled it very quickly before I left to go bowl and didn't have time to adjust anything)

I struck the first shot, went high the second and moved two left. The next ten were just crushing strikes and had several people asking what I was throwing and how to get one.

I am very impressed with it and on first impressions it is just as good as the first Heat. I will give an update after the regional this weekend.
