Not sure what to drill, drill a Storm or a Track there is no better.

Mike,
They should be very similiar. I have not witnessed anyone throwing the Heat other than myself. From the reaction I get out of the Heat and what I have seen out of people using the Ice, I think they are going to cover nearly identical ball paths. The only difference I have seen is that the Heat may be a little stronger on the backends.

Would have to agree with Ex, as the Heat will probably give you more on the backend.

I have put over 30 games on my ice and it reacts the same. Thanks though for all of the info but for right now do u guys think that I sould maybe just drill a slash right now and maybe later on replace my ice with a heat?

Mike,
I believe you would be better off getting the Slash first. The Heat would more than likely end up replacing the Ice. The Slash is going to give you a much different reaction than what those 2 balls will.

The Heat has slightly stronger specs than the ICE and is a harder churning flaring pearl. (more midlane).
The Ice is a great go long cover a few boards fast type of ball on lighter mediums.
I think a great arsenal would be Slash, Heat, Ice.
All slightly different listed strongest to longest! I see all 3 as different. But the Heat is much closer to the Ice then the Slash. For a two ball arsenal, Slash, Ice!

This is a GREAT ball. I have mine drilled 3.5 x 2.5 with a balance hole 2 in down from my axis. This ball gets through the heads and really starts to rev in the midland without hooking. It has a nice smooth move on the backend with great hit. I have never seen a pearl ball keep the pins so low. Its like a solid ball with surface is hitting the pins. This is a great ball for medium to dry lanes and is great on a league/house shot.

Hey thanks every one for the info and what do u think of this as a arsenal
Guaranteed( will more then likely replace with gp2 if not good on true oil)
Mutant( tournament ball)
Rule
Exception
Slash or Heat
Ice
Spare
I like what I am hearing about what you guys said about the slash but my proshop guy is maybe telling me to go for a heat because it is stronger then a ice and I have my ice set up with a one o'clock drilling so it is pretty weak as it is. If the slash is still best let me know because I am going for a tournament and I can only have 6 balls so pretty much this might be my 6th ball that I bring if I really like both the exception and rule. Please let me know and thanks for your time sorry to bug any one.
