I'm going to buy a 912T and wondered what would be the best drilling to get a strong backend. My present oil ball is a Mission x drilled with the pin about 4" from my pap and just right of the ring finger. It has a weight hole that looks like it is in line with and below the pap. I have the surface at 1000. My problem is that the ball won't finish on the oil pattern my house is putting out. By the way, I'm not the only one having this problem as most averages are way down this year.
I'm looking at the Track site and it looks like drilling No. 2 is what I'm looking for. Any advice would really be appreciated.
If it helps, I'm an OLD senior bowler who usually averages from the mid 180's to the low 190's.(except for this year) My speed is between 14 and 15 mph and my rev rate is low to average. My A game is standing from 17 to 22 and targeting from 8 to 13.

Here is what I would do. For more backend, I would put the pin somewhere around 4.5 to 5 inches off of your axis. I would make the pin go above the fingers to help it flare more. Put the mass bias around 60 degrees. If you put a hole in it put it low and by the thumb. This will increase flare potential a pinch for the ball to hook a tad more around the corner. Now if you find that this ball isn't cornering hard enough, change the surface. I would first bring the ball to 4000 to make sure it isn't burning its energy early. If the ball still doesn't hook, hit it with 2000 dry by hand. This will give the surface really good teeth to hook. Hope this helps.
