If your 718A is not angular, then it is arc-y. the rest of the 7 series is not "set up to be rolly". At least I wouldn't term them that way. And especially with asymmetric cores, you can easily "tune" them to be more angular or more arc-like at the breakpoint.

So what you could easily do (and I am very surprised that your driller hasn't already suggested this), drill up a 714C, which is meant to arc and use a slightly smaller VAL angle than you used on your 718A. That would add some angularity to the breakpoint without making it angular; it would make it less "rolly".

 Charlest, my terminology is probably inaccurate, at best. All i can say for sure is the ball has never been very skid/flip. My guy has not drilled very many of the number balls from track. In fact, I don't see very many of them. We talked about the 714C the other day. He is looking into it and will let me know when I pick up a couple of balls he is working on for me. You are most likely correct in that an adjustment to the layout and a similar cover prep will get very close. Thanks for the insight.

Tj we have no oil volume in our area....that's why your 718 has an arc like reaction.....I recently bought a 300T 714c 503T 503A .....guess which one has the most backend for me??? The 300T flips harder on the back than all the rest......These balls are all new and thats what im seeing.....
