15# all the way. I see no difference and hit and probably carry a little more of the heavier pocket hits due to a little more deflection. In long practice sessions or a long tourney format, my arm is not quite as tired as what I would be when I got done with 16#. I was ok as long as I kept bowling, but when I stopped, that is when I felt the difference. Nowadays, with the dynamic cores, I truly do not see a difference in 15# or 16# and see some people who were throwing 15# going to a heavy 14# in my shop.
ONE thing to remember though, I would stick with the same weight you currently have unless you are going to replace it with the new weight. I would not have 2 different balls at different weights. I could and can understand this if one is a spare ball, but not in this situation where you would probably want to use both when you see different conditions.
Ask if you have any other questions!
Thanks!
Clint
