Hexplosion vs Desert Heat for Dry
« on: August 24, 2005, 02:56:32 AM »
On Ebay, I've been seeing a lot of Hexplosions go cheap, and was thinkng of picking up one. I remember Excaliber was very high on this ball being good for dry. Can anyone compare the two to give me a better idea if I should pick up the Hexplosion or wait to get the Desert?

For true dry, the Desert is better. It is a highly polished reactive pearl, where the Hexplosion has a higher rg and more differential...the core is stronger in the Hex...so naturally, the Desert would be smoother and the better choice. Not to take ANYTHING away from the Hexplosion as I have seen MANY good scores with the ball and it is a great piece.

Thanks!
