im glad to see people or coming to this forum and taking interest.like when i made my nasty post about all the bowling balls that cracked on here which fig the man took care of.and just for the record i now have the 505c,505a,715a,920a,and the 930t.for my 2 cents i have now approx 35 bowling balls now to my collection.about 10 tack and 4 hammer and the rest legends and lane masters.the 930 and the 505a are killing in my house now.i am the most dedicated track person in my center.right now the 505a is the best all around track ball i have thrown.drilled aliitle aggrressive and the cover taken just allittle factory polish to smooth it alittle it crushes the pocket.i carry a 201 to 205 in 5 leagues in my house and a 198 bbok avg and a 199 in a amf center other than my normal house.i have been averaging about 215 since it came out.i usually use a stronger ball the first game.jigsaw corner or 930.i have also shoot 2 279"s with the 505c.the 505a rolls the same but with a sharper stronger back end.the a and the c are drilled the same.if you like track i recommend getting the 505a.it is in my opion the track ball of the year.
my stats are speed per our quibica avg 16 revs 225? axis tilt? higher track.

hello my name is charlie i'm having a problem finding two balls for my wife.she's tried various balls but i just can't find the right ones i'm tired of getting her more equipment just to find it doesn't work she's a down and in bowler sometimes she can swing a baby hook but she dowsn't have rist strenth to rev up a ball alot so lets call her a tweener but she has high arm speed i have bought her a cell drilled to break hard on the back end but she couldn't get it to turn so i recieved it..sits in the closet.... also she has had a no mercy which even dulled would not help .. gave it away...she now has a big rig desiel and a polished defcon 2 and a red vibe ..i'm trying to get her some new stuff to replace her defcon and a vibe she's has bad luck with dull balls but throws shinny gloss balls great big rig is drilled for early roll. it seems to work but i'm trying to get her new equipment can you help??? any ideas hope you can help

If she really enjoys throwing shiny equipment, then go out and get her a 715C. This ball has a reaction to die for. Even with the shine it is strong enough to make the corner. I think this would be a great ball choice for your wife. The 920A would also be a great choice. Even though it is at 4000 abralon and looks dull, it is a pearl cover that is very clean, and has a good sharper move on the back compared to the 715C. These balls will be great additions for her. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Any luck with taking the cell surface up to 4000 w/ a fair amount of polish? Putting the pieces of the puzzle together, dull balls don't make the corner, she is a down & in bowler, polished balls work well, probably bowling on a X-mas tree THS, lower rev rate. Sounds like her equipment is burning up before it gets to the break point. This will cause a weak or non-existent ball reaction off of the dry. Since she has a low rev rate and probably playing mainly on the outside of an already dry area of the lane with aggressive equipment, this happens very quickly. She definitely has the right idea with using some weaker, and polished equipment. She definitely doesn't need any high end aggressive equipment to suit her needs. I would imagine a mid line to lower mid line ball would do just fine. Something with a polished coverstock or pearl cover will work well. If you want to stay with track, Probably a 5 series ball is in order. Maybe a 505C might suit her needs.
