HEY FASTTRACKERS!
Most of you may know me as Michael, Steve, or simply SteveAustin2808; my full name though is Michael Price. I am like many of you who are on here, a bowler. There are many different types of bowlers, yes, but the one word that we all have in common is that we are "bowlers". I have been a member on BallReviews now since somewhere around the Fall of '04. For the serious bowlers, some may or may not have gone through what I like to call 'brand loyal'. At one time I was very loyal to Columbia 300. The Icon Series and Throttle Series was some of the best equipment I ever threw in my earlier days while still a youth bowler.
It was then I was introduced to the Animal and Phenom Unleashed from Track. I knew there was something special to this brand. Although at one point I drifted away and threw some Storm, Brunswick, and Ebonite, I picked Track up once again. When I made the decision, I had a goal to one day be apart of the company staff in some way, shape or form. I had a conversation with the Pro Shop Owner who gave me the advice that companies really look at the loyalty factor. My decision was made to come back to Track and throw it exclusively. This was during the days when the Rule GP2, Slash, and Heat Remake were just introduced. I knew about the site and how to post reviews; however, it was when I introduced myself to the Track forums is when things turned into something special for me.
All this time later, I am talking to BR users over the phone that are involved in this forum and they are like my best friends. I have absorbed so much knowledge from different users on here and one of the most important things near and dear to my heart is helping other users in the Track forum anyway I possibly can. This is the reason why I'm making this post especially in the Track forum. I want to let each and everyone of you FASTTRACKERS who bleed the Flaming T just like me that I am here to help you in anyway possible! Just tonight I read a message from one of the users on here, IMMORTAL LIES. Here was his message to me...
"Hey Michael, its Colton. I wanted to thank you for being such a great BR member and being so informative with me and a pleasure to talk to! I'm proud to say, your videos got me thinking "Hey! I got the money, why not try something different." I got my old Track Slash plugged up, and drilled Stacked Leverage, and averaged 215 on league today, and 203 for 7 games after league! This thing couldnt carry any better! You got ol' Colton, Back On Track. Thanks buddy for all the help. Have a Great Weekend."
My goal is clear and I want to share with you my goal if I am a 'influential' BR user as I've been told by some people on here and some people I personally know that I bowl with.
MY GOAL IS TO HELP THE PEOPLE OF THE TRACK FORUM ON BALLREVIEWS.COM BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY! I HAVE THE PASSION, DESIRE, AND COMMITMENT TO HELP ANY MAN, WOMAN, BOY, OR GIRL THAT SEEKS TO BE EDUCATED IN THE SPORT OF BOWLING. I AM AN EASY PERSON TO APPROACH AND TO ME THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A STUPID QUESTION.
That is my mission statement. Although I have read that Track maybe getting the boot and Del is gone one thing is clear, I am a loyal TRACK FOLLOWER until the end!
