For a long time in the past I always tracked below the thumb hole, by at least an inch.
Last year, as part of some work in a clinic, I changed my release slightly so that I come a little more off the side of the ball. Now, my track is pretty high. Once in a while my first track will clip the thumb hole and then flare off of it. This is more prevelant with my Desert Heat.
I have a couple questions about a high track.
1. What release generally causes a high track?
2. Is a high track a good thing, in terms of ball reaction?
3. Do do pin up over the fingers layouts work better for high trackers? If so, why?
Thanks
