Holding The Track Forum Togeather
« on: November 06, 2006, 04:06:43 PM »
I applaud Michael and Sixcranker for trying to hold the Track bowlers and this forum togeather. Rick & Carl are the glue that always held this site together  in the past. When they quit posting, this forum started going down hill before Del ever left and before there was even a hint he was leaving, so I don't think his leaving is a factor in regard to people leaving and no longer posting anymore.

Being a close friend of Rick's, I do know why he quit posting, but I am not at liberty to say nor will I ever say. As for Carl's case, I can't speak for him as I don't know. These two guys were two of the best if not the best at helping people with their problems, questions, and what ever. I quit Track and went to another company for a couple of reasons. First, the Track balls the last 12 months or so with their overly strong MB's and strong covers no longer seemed to  match up to my game and the conditions I bowl on. With Rick and Carl gone, there was a lack of help to work out drilling/ball problems for myself and others and after a couple of bad buys and bad decisions, I gave up and decided to look elsewhere for a company(s) with balls that might work for me along with people as knowledgable as Rick and Carl are that could help with ball choices, drillings and etc.

To sum it up, this may and may not be why others have left Track also, but I don't know that for fact and as previously said, I don't think Del leaving had anything to do with people leaving but I could be wrong here.

HEY JIM!

I do appreciate everything you said buddy! I deleted my post because I didn't want anybody trying to ruin my points...that's one of the reason I believe Rick and Carl don't post that often anymore is because of crap such as people making what I like to call 'trash' comments...it is completely unnecessary...I'm like this..either you like Track because you've had success with them or you don't like Track because they don't match up well with your game. I don't care which company or companies put out equipment, they all will leave 7 pins (lefties) and 10 pins (righties) regardless...there is no 'superior' bowling equipment...it is all in how and what matches up well to our game. I like TRACK, I'm a FASTTRACKER, and I will stand up for this forum in Rick and Carl's abscence from it. God Bless You All and have a great week!

I'm still here. I just am having a real hard time getting
out of my slump. I have tried everything that i know. I
am sticking with track because i love their equipment. I
do not think my problem right now is my equipment. I think
it is me. I will always be a track supporter no matter how
bad i am bowling. I just do not get on here that much lately,
but im still here supporting TRACK.

I'm going to continue to stay with Track as long as they stay in the bowling buisness! I almost decided to leave them because of all the negativity in the Track forum, and without seeing all the helpful posts from Rick or Carl, or even Clint. I am stuggling just a little bit, with the mass bias balls, but im gonna have to learn one time or another, so it might as well be now!

I'm getting the POWER MACHINE soon, from allstarbowling-joe, and im going to put up a video of it in action for one whole game, no editing, and probably not much striking, lol. Maybe i can bring some light into the Track forum, i don't know for sure, but im going to try!

Over the summer when i was trying to figure out my arsenal, and trying to learn everything i can possibly learn about bowling, i found out that i should try Track! I read everything i can from Carl, Rick, Clint, Mark, and everyone else that helped me out, and now i know about bowling. I rose my average up over 20 pins since last year, just because i can now read the lanes easier, and know how to move my line. I thank everyone who has helped me, and for that reason i have gone to Track, because they simply have the smartest most dedicated people to this sport. I especially thank Mark Trgovac (cg proshop Scoot) for talking to me, and helping me out with so many things. We talk online about a lot of things, and he has helped A LOT.

Thanks for reading all of this, i know it's a lot of rambling, but im just speaking my word. And thanks to all these people, i'm staying on the Fast Track to Success!

The Track forum used to be one of the best ones here.  I hope you guys keep on posting here because when I get some of the Track balls I recently purchased drilled up, I may need some advise.

Thanks guys for the support for Carl and myself.  Things have literally been nuts plus I've been sick as a dog.  Just returned from a bowling trip in Vegas and I will try and be here as much as possible.

As for right now, Carl and I are still Track staffers and will be until we announce otherwise.  A couple of offers have come in but I will have to wait and discuss with Carl as to what direction will suit us best.

Regardless of contracts or business obligations, I've made many friends here and I was always an advocate of helping our fellow bowler whether he/she was throwing Track or not.  That will never change.....see you guys real soon.
