How does the Freak-A-Zoid match up against the Xception
« on: January 22, 2005, 01:58:01 PM »
All right I absolutely love the XCeption. I've been averaging 231 the past 3 weeks in my Weds night league and it does what I was looking for. I'm starting to research other Track balls now so I'm curious as to what sort of conditions the Freak-A-Zoid is for. Also what does the core of it do for ball reaction? Thanks guys.

the freak a zoid is more of an arc than the xception. it starts rolling a little sooner, and not as snappy

Hey David,

I agree with the guys here.  By design, the Xception is longer and stronger comparatively to the FAZ.

On heavier patterns the earlier roll of the Freakout will be more useful, but on lanes where the the backends are really strong the Xception just excells! They give 2 totally different looks, just as was mentioned already. AWESOME combo to have on the lanes.

My Freak-A-Zoid rolled in the midlane (it has a symmeterical core), but you know, it still had some good kick at the end to get through the carrydown. A real nice surprise. This is a super house shot ball that has a wall to use. Also good on PBA pattern C. My X-Ception is a down the lane snap ball. This ball really carry's well. Both balls are good choices as they compliment each other well.
