How does your Mean Machine react? What reacts similarly, with more length?

I wonder because I'm loving my Mean Machine right now.  If possible, I like to stay around the second arrow, stand around 23 and throw it right up the 10 board or so.  On my Med Heavy THS the Mean seems to have a nice, heavy roll and a smooth arc to the pocket, not snappy at all UNLESS I miss right enough to get it into the dry early.  It almost looks like the ball isn't hooking at all the motion is so nice and even.  It's merited me the best streak of 600s I've ever had, and the best single game and series scores I've had all season.  The only problem is by the third game I have to really pump it up there for it to hold the pocket on the right side.  What is it about this ball that makes it react this way for me?  What can I take from this and look for in other balls?  Is there a Track ball or something from another company that will give me a similar reaction but hold its line better as the track dries out?  What are your thoughts?

Consider the Track Inertia.  The light particle load will help tame down the backend if you leak it out to the dry a little soon.  The coverstock is very tameable.  PM me if you have any other questions.

I have the Meanie and the Inertia both with the same drill and the Inertia is about 4-5 boards weaker. I think the Inertia may be the most underrated Track ball ever. Smooth as silk and hits like a truck!

Is the Inertia Sym or Assym?  If Assy, does anyone know its MB rating?  I don't generally do well with high MB ratings, though I wouldn't imagine it would have one.

The Inertia is asymmetrical.  RG is 2.51 with a differential of 0.055.

Anyone know the MB rating?   From pics it doesn't look very strongly assymmetric, which is good.

I'm looking close at the Inertia.  Maybe particle balls in general will fit what I'm looking for, I think I'm finding that I have more success with a smooth backend over a snappy one.

I think also that next week when I try to make the move to the Power I'll have to change my line and swing the ball a bit.  I'm more comfortable playing up the boards, but I think it's just not a great line for the Power.  I was hoping it would be a nice step down from the Mean, but it's too different a reaction shape, and nearly the same total hook.

Inertia or the artillery would be the right choices, i actually like the artillery better out of the two of them. Low rg strong polished goo ls cover and nice diff at .050 ball goes medium long and snaps hard off the dry.

A hard snap is exactly what I don't want.  I'm looking for a smooth, controllable arc for medium conditions.

Hey bud, the Inertia is at .015 mb diff.  Very nice piece....I helped directdrill with a new layout from his original drill and he absolutely loves it now.

In regards to your original question, I like the Power Machine or Machine to go under the Mean.  Your choice in strength and separation.  The Power is stronger compared to the Machine so the Machine will offer you a little more separation from the Mean.
