Hey guys, (just wanted to share this)

You don't know how "HAPPY" I am to finally find my "ORIGINAL" partner of Ten Pins Pro Shop from Chicago after 19 years (sometimes internet is a great thing). His name is Jesse Gutierrez, my best friend in childhood and early adulthood. We grew up together at Cermak Bowl working at the bowl, shop and then opening our first pro shop together under the tutelage of Mr. Jerry Negrete (great man who helped mold my life).

I met 3 friends at Bowl Expo from Chicago that I haven't seen in 20+ yrs and they helped me get in contact with him. We used to bowl and coach together. We even bought an 8mm camera and projector back then to analyze our own games (we were only 18-19 yrs old) to see and understand what, why and how things worked in our games. We analyzed ball motion back when we use to have to tape our balls to find pap's...

I am just so ecstatic about this that I wanted to share with my family here. Life in itself changes people but great friendships and loyalty in an individual never go away....so happy to have you back in my life "J".

RICK .. I am very happy for you. I've had the same experience a few times in my life and understand the feeling! I hope you nourish the experience don't let your friends slip away again!

I hear you Joe (thank you)....now you know why you were the "first" one that I gave a Track towel to because of your honesty in my Track Tourney (without being able to participate). "Loyalty" is an unknown characteristic that we all have....this is what makes up the Legion as well.

Jesse and I have been in as much communication as we could be in the last few weeks....it's a great feeling inside.

Rick, Glad to hear you found him. As Joe said friends are to be cherished, and not forgotten.

I just wish I had been able to get over to see you when you were down here in Florida. One day I will be able to actually meet you.

Hey Paul,

If you really want to find someone peoplefinders.com for 39.95 you will get all the info you need including cell phone numbers. Great for finding dead beats that owe you money like my ex-wife, just thought i would share anyway great to hear about your friend.

btw you can put in the state they originally lived and where they are now at for free, kind of fun for looking up old school friends and ex girlfriends.

That is awesome! What a great story, don't lose touch again.

Just another story to show what a small world it is. I had a lesson with my coach and we were talking. He told me he got a possible new athlete/student while getting gas in San Diego. Anyhow as he was telling me about the person he met, I realized it was very likely someone I know. I asked the name and sure enough it was some one I call a friend and a fellow BR member. Though he doesn't post or visit often, it was Nicanor. My coach was surprised when I told him. You just never know!

Hey Jess,

You really can't imagine how happy it was to find you and speak with you again.
As you can see, I have another family out here on BR and it doesn't get any better than the group of people we have here on the Track forum. We support each other during good times and bad times...kind of like marriage...OMG...

Loyal Legion members, Jesse "still" has the knowledge for the game (guess you don't lose it plus he's a perfectionist like myself). I had him look at my vids and he critiqued me perfectly...we worked so hard and diligently as kids that I guess it never left us.

Jess, Carl and I are planning on a Tag Team coaching seminar in Chicago so I might be seeing you soon. Thank all of you for the support...
