Rejuvinated!
« on: April 16, 2006, 04:53:23 AM »
Hey FASTTRACKERS,

As of late, I haven't been making many posts...the reason behind this has been due to my withdrawl from the sport. The last few weeks have been full of mistakes and low scoring that I really didn't feel like that my words would be 'significant' to any. I am happy to say that I am REJUVINATED due to the Easter Sunday Church service! I am full of energy; energy I haven't felt in the past few weeks! I just want to say to any and all that I appreciate your prayers and your thoughts (if I have been in any of yours) and that I am greatful to know many of you in the Track forum. As we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus on this Easter, I just want to say to each and everyone of you that you are my friends, you are my brothers and sisters and I hope that many blessings come your way! The time is here and The time is now! I am back and ready to hit the lanes once again this week! God Bless You all and have a great week!

Our Easter service was on "Empty Promises"....read on...The cross is empty because Jesus promised to pay the ultimate penalty for our sins, yours and mine. He paid for our sins by being a sacrifice on the cross and was crucified to the death and taken off the cross and put in the tomb. The cross is empty because of his promise and love for us.    The tomb is empty , because as he promised, he would defeat the grip of death and give us a hope for eternal life by rising from the dead on Sunday morning. The tomb is empty because He Is alive !   His grave clothes are empty, and were found in the tomb, but His face cloth was not wadded up but instead neatly folded and laid in the tomb.  This signifies that He had not only left but gives the promise that He will be returning, and therefore completing the promise that He will return for us.  Kinda hard to hear a message like that and not be rekindled just a little....God bless, Al

Clint,   Galion,Ohio and Gospel Baptist Church can't be too far away........we hear a great message every Sunday at 10:30 from a pastor who is as real out of the pulpit as he is in the pulpit in a church that is welcoming, friendly , and knows how to praise and worship.  Give me a shout and come on over any time. I also chair a comittee for a car show we host every summer for any of you that are in to collector cars...July 15 at 4 pm........this is our 8th show. Just to show you can be a believer and be cool and still enjoy life and not be stiff and starchy like some Christians are thought to be like.....Al

Michael,

You have to remember...bowling is a rollercoaster ride. If one allows bad habits to enter into their game it can become very difficult to get away from it.

Welcome back bud!
