Charles--

That might be a good idea.  One problem I have with track is they use fancy names for their coverstocks and don't SAY what they actually are.  I had a hard time finding out what exactly the cover on the Mean Machine was, since it is Fang LS Control, it sounds like a particle stock, but it ain't!

Mr. Lebowski, this is Bill Salnicker with the Southern Cal Bowling League, and I just got a, an informal report, that a member of your team, uh, Walter Sobchak, drew a firearm during league play. If this is true of course, it contravenes a number of the league's by-laws, and article 27 of the league...

Part of the basis of that, in recent times, is that Del was never a coverstock kind of guy; he is a core guy. The ball designer for any company really needs either to be both or to have both a core expert and a coverstock expert as references and he needs to judge their matchups. The match-up is THE most important factor in ball designs these days.

Whereas newguy is a coverstock expert; now if Del and Phil could have gotten together ... well, that ain't gonna happen.

I'm glad to see these specs.  I've had a rough time getting my Equation to react like it's supposed to.  One question, If it's 3000 polish does that mean sand to 3000, than apply magic shine?
