I want a new Track !!

Hey Fasttrackers, i need a new Track ball !! Here's what my current arsenal is..

Heavy Oil : FILL ME IN!!
Medium Oil : Power Machine at 4000 grit, no polish
Light Oil : Desert Heat

Should i wait for the new release or get a Robo Rule (impossible to find) or Mean Machine? I wanna see what the new release is in january, but i need opinions!! THanks!!

Mean Machine.. Best ball probably on Track's line as of now.

I don't think the new next release will be something for heavy type conditions. With the Mean Machine, Power Machine, and Inertia replacing them, I would look forward to seeing the Machine go discontinued and something to fill it in.

If you want something for oil just grab the Robo. It will more than handle that for ya.

what if i never encounter enough oil for the RObo Rule? would it be a little safer going with the Mean Machine?

The Mean Machine with some surface....say 800 or so can cover its share of oil. HOWEVER if I had a chance of running into a heavier pattern I would want to have the Robo in the bag waiting, "just incase".

okay, thanks carl .. can i put the Robo at a certain surface so it's not rolling too early on a little lighter oil? and i would give it more surface going into a tournament or something.

I'd say go with the Mean Machine. Typical people to not run into a "true" flood now a-days. Most of it is the Heavier side of Medium, so I would go with a Mean Machine. With me, It is a great ball and does the trick for the "heavier" stuff.

Brian,

I know you have seen some videos of Mark using his....and you have witnessed the type of "revs" that Mark has. I believe he has taken his to 1500 and done well on shots that were just slightly heavier than mediums...so you may be able to get away with that.

Haven't you already had like 3 Mean Machines???????? Plus your sig says you have an Action Max.  I would consider that a heavy oil ball.  Anyways, I'm going to go with the Robo Rule.  Obiviously they are pretty versatile since Clint had like what 12 of them at one time.  Personally I wasn't really impressed with the Mean Machine.  Just didn't match up well with me at all.  Not saying that it was a bad ball, just didn't work for me.

Actually i had 2 Mean Machines, one i had drilled and sold, and one i had NIB 15# that i can't throw, and i just like putting a random ball that i feel like getting in my sig, other than the Power Machine and Desert Heat. But thanks for your opinion
